The Power of Myth
Eilisain Jewelry represents my fascination and appreciation for myth stories and
the power and understanding we receive from applying them to our own lives.
Every piece of Eilisain jewelry is handcrafted using found animal parts, rough coral and gemstones, animal teeth, and of course the alchemial properties of metal. My hope is to provide you with jewelry that carries the vitality of myth and belief that objects (adornment) can transform your perspective and appearance.
The story of Eilisain really begins when I found the name, Eilisain (I-li-sean) at a Celtic fair, I went to a booth where you can have your name translated into Gaelic. Of course I was curious and had my name, Lisette translated and thus is Eilisain meaning "Consecrated to God". I have always found cultural mythologies fascinating; creation stories and how varied and yet similar they are. Eilisain seemed so appropriate for my future jewelry business.

Call upon the power and strength of birds of prey with this talon pendant. You'll feel powerful, fierce and edgy-cool. There is a lovely delicate and striking combination of textured and oxidized (blackened) bronzeand the high shine of the talons.
**Owl Symbology: "To the ancient Greeks the owl was associated with the goddess Athena, and it was a symbol of higher wisdom. To the early Christian Gnostics the owl is associated with Lilith, the first wife of Adam who refused to be submissive to him. Owl Medicine is symbolically associated with clairvoyance, astral projection and magic, both black and white." - Ted Andrews, Animal Speak book.
Pendant measures 1.5 inchs in length, and .75 in width. Sterling silver chain is 28" (inches) long but can be sized to whatever your preferred length. Chain can is oxidized (blackened) but can also come in shiny white silver. Makers mark is attached to chain for authenticity. Chain clasp has a spring ring clasp.
Your Eilisain Jewelry order will arrive in my signature gold embossed gift box, with a lavender sage wand (while supplies are in stock), an EJ polishing cloth.
Orders can take 3-4 weeks at most to create and deliver.
