The Power of Myth

Eilisain Jewelry represents my fascination and appreciation for myth stories and
the power and understanding we receive from applying them to our own lives.

Every piece of Eilisain jewelry is handcrafted using found animal parts, rough coral and gemstones, animal teeth, and of course the alchemial properties of metal. My hope is to provide you with jewelry that carries the vitality of myth and belief that objects (adornment) can transform your perspective and appearance.

The story of Eilisain really begins when I found the name, Eilisain (I-li-sean) at a Celtic fair, I went to a booth where you can have your name translated into Gaelic. Of course I was curious and had my name, Lisette translated and thus is Eilisain meaning "Consecrated to God". I have always found cultural mythologies fascinating; creation stories and how varied and yet similar they are. Eilisain seemed so appropriate for my future jewelry business.

Carry the intelligence and power of crows with this completely bronze crow claw pendant and beautiful pink tourmaline chip.

***Crow Characteristics & Mythology***The Crow has great intelligence. Their ability for watching has given them a reputation for thievery. Crows and all corvines are easily imprinted with the image of their keeper. In Roman mythology raven and crows used to be as white as swans. In fact a white crow watched over Apollo's pregnant lover at Delphos. One day the crow brought bad news to Apollo and was turned black.

Pendant measures 1.5 inch from top of bail to bottom of claw and 1 inch from tip of crystal to claw joints. You may choose your chain length at checkout. Makers mark/tag is attached for authenticity. Chain has been blackened but can come in shiny 'white' silver.

Custom orders can be made for this pendant; I have a variety of crystals. Please know that if you order this pendant crystal may not look exactly like one in the photo but similar.
